Welcome to Topical Rx Advanced Skincare
Topical Rx was developed to bring an active, high performance cosmeceutical line to consumers worldwide. These type of skincare product formulations were pioneered in the US in the late 70’s, embraced excitedly by estheticians and forward thinking dermatologists in the early 80’s. They have stood the test of time with more balanced formulations that incorporate not only exfoliation ingredients, but antioxidants, peptides and better delivery systems that can be customized for various skin types and concerns.
Ellen Clark, L.E., MA began her professional esthetic career in the late 1980’s, after graduating from Loyola Marymount University, then acquiring her esthetic license and opening up the first corrective skincare clinic in Sunnyvale, CA. After expanding to a second location in San Jose, CA, she opened a regional skincare distribution company, and began teaching advanced esthetics as well as speaking at professional trade shows and schools. During this time, Ellen continued her education, receiving her MA in Counseling Psychology, while writing trade articles on treating problem skin and building salon business.
Since Ellen always wanted to create a skincare line, and had considerable experience with formulations that were custom-made for her clinics, she sold her other businesses, and launched her first brand, Control Corrective Skincare Inc., a comprehensive, professional skincare line, available to licensed skincare professionals, and sold nationally.
After numerous requests for custom formulations and private label options, Global Beauty and Topical Rx were started. Global Beauty caters to businesses that want a premium private label line, and Topical Rx is a corrective skincare line that is available to consumers directly, as well as to businesses looking for high performance cosmeceuticals that they can introduce to their customers.
Ellen is actively involved with the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), speaks nationally on skin conditions, and advanced treatments in the salon. Clark also consults on sales and marketing strategies for salon owners. Her passion for customer care, and working with small to medium size salon owners, has made her a sought after speaker and presenter.

If you are looking for smoother, clearer skin it can only be achieved using potent topical products that are balanced and contain medically proven active ingredients. After twenty years in the professional skincare industry and having owned a skincare clinic, I know what it takes to create results-oriented products.
"I have spent my entire professional career helping people with skin concerns, creating customized home care product choices based on ingredients and activity levels we use in Topical Rx."
— Ellen Clark, President and CEO
The Topical Rx Advanced Skincare Line is available directly, to you the consumer, to help you reach your skincare improvement goals.
You as a Consumer
There is much hype out in the marketplace that can make even the most educated esthetician or consumer very confused. Keeping it simple is not a bad thing. Rather, it helps one stay focused on the facts. To achieve your skincare goals we suggest you:
- Use Active Product Topicals.
- Know how your skin is feeling and “acting” – you live in your skin.
- Rotating your home care products from time to time.
- Either perform exfoliation peels to your self or go to a good esthetician several times a year, or as needed to keep the skin in the best shape.
- Use non-clogging makeup.
- Wear SPF 30 or higher daily.
- Make healthy lifestyle choices.
It is also important to note that many skin concerns are chronic and while troublesome can be “managed” in a way that reduces the appearance of the problem. Common conditions are acne, Rosacea (or highly blotchy, sensitive skin), hyperpigmentation, eczema, psoriasis, overly-active oily skin, dehydrated and dry skin, photo damaged skin and of course general signs of aging.
If most consumers had solved these problems at the Dermatologist office, there would be little need for cosmeceuticals like Topical Rx. Unfortunately, (and I am an example of this), the vast majority of the US population still struggles daily with these abovementioned concerns, in spite of doctor visits, mass marketed skincare lines and useless products that make unrealistic claims and leave people more frustrated and disillusioned than before.
We encourage you to consider using a different type of line…one that is geared to bring you results, with proven formulations that have been available in clinical skincare practices for years.
We guarantee our products and you are always welcome to call us or e-mail us for advice on how best to handle your skin. If you are working with an esthetician or MD already, we can always help you figure out the questions that you need to ask and what to need to request to get the results you desire.
